Shubhankar makes cut, but slips in third round of KLM Open
Shubhankar Sharma, heading to the Paris Olympics in August, made the cut on the line in the second round of the KLM Open before suffering a round of 3-over 74 in the following round in Amsterdam.
Sharma is now tied 67th. He had double bogey in the second round, and had two more in the third on the Par-3 fourth and Par-5 18th, which he had birdied on the opening two days.
Overall, he had four birdies, three bogeys and two doubles on the third day, down four places from the second round.
The leader after two rounds was Mikko Korhonen (64-68), who was 10-under. He was yet to start his third round.

Jeev tied-7th and Randhawa T-13 in Legends golf in Ireland
Jeev Milkha Singh rode on a round of 4-under 68 to leap into tied-seventh place at the OFX Irish Legends Golf Championship.
The tournament is a part of Legends Tour Europe.
Jeev, who had four birdies against two bogeys and two double bogeys in his first round, was more comfortable in the second round. He birdied twice on the front nine and three times on the back nine and had one bogey. His rounds of 74 and 68 now place him at 2-under and tied seventh position.
Jyoti Randhawa, winner of the Legends Tour Q-School, shot 71-72 to be T-13. His second round included just one birdie on the 16th and a bogey on the 18th and he parred the first 15 holes.
The 1999 Open winner, Paul Lawrie leads into the final round at Seapoint Golf Links in Ireland as he chases down a fourth Legends Tour title. He carded a round of 70 on an overcast day with blustery winds and some rain too, which made for a proper links test for the second round of the OFX Irish Legends.

Veer Ahlawat tied 11th in Seoul
Indian golfer Veer Ahlawat recovered in the latter stages of the round to card 1-over 72 and settle for tied 11th place in the Kolon Korea Open here on Saturday.
At 1-over 214 on the Par-71 Woo Jeong Hills Country Club, Veer has a good chance of picking a top-10 finish. Rashid Khan (84) was tied 65th.
After an early birdie, Veer had four bogeys between the seventh and the 12th, but did well to get birdies on the 15th and the 16th.
Korean Younghan Song shot the day’s best four-under-par 67 to move in front on eight-under. He led by one from compatriot and overnight leader Kang Kyungnam (72) and the 2022 champion Minkyu Kim, who carded a 71.
Song, who mainly plays on the Japan Golf Tour, trailed Kang for most of the day, but was a picture of consistency, making four birdies and not dropping a shot.
A strong international contingent have an outside chance on Sunday with Filipino Miguel Tabuena and Taichi Kho from Hong Kong in a tie for seventh on two under. Tabuena shot a 68, while Kho fired a 71.
England’s Steve Lewton carded a 73 and is one stroke further back.

Pranavi, Diksha assured of final round in Czech Ladies Open
Pranavi Urs and Diksha Dagar ensured their presence in the final round of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, while the other four Indians are also likely to make the cut.
Pranavi was T-17 and Diksha T-47 but the round was still in progress.
Pranavi added a bogey-free 69 to her first round 71 to get to 4-under 140 and was T-17, while Diksha, who shot 71 in the first round could not get many of her putts to fall.
Diksha had two birdies, both one-putts on the fourth and the eighth. Her bogeys came on the fifth and the 13th, when she missed the fairways and the green in regulation. Overall, she took 30 putts for the round, but even that was slightly better than the 32 from first day. She was T-47 provisionally.
Pranavi also missed a lot of makeable putts and needed 31 for the second day. But the positive was that she did not drop any bogeys.
Vani Kapoor was even par through eight holes in the second round and 4-under overall in T-17 and amateur Avani Prashanth with 69 and even par through 12 in the second was 3-under and was T-29.
Ridhima Dilawari with 70 and even par through 13 holes was 2-under and Tvesa Malik with 71 and 1-under through 11 was also 2-under. They were both T-37 as play was still in progress.
Welsh golfer Chloe Williams, who led after the first round was still on the top at 10-under and was 1-under through 11 holes in the second round after a first round of 63.
Hannah Green (67-68) was second at 9-under, while Marta Martin (69-67) was tied third with Caroline Hedwall (65-71) at 8-under.
