When people talk about the greatest quarterbacks of all time, a few select names come up.
Tom Brady, of course, is considered by most to be the greatest QB in NFL history, and right behind him are Joe Montana and now Patrick Mahomes.
In terms of who was the most talented signal-caller ever, names such as Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Peyton Manning will come up.
But wide receiver Phillip Dorsett, who played with Brady for three seasons, feels Luck was more talented than him, per Carlos Talks Pats.

No one will ever mention Luck as one of the best QBs to ever play, or even one of the very best of his era, but he was an excellent one.
He was the No. 1 pick in the 2012 draft by the Indianapolis Colts after a season in which Manning was out due to neck surgery and a spinal fusion procedure.
Luck quickly became Manning’s heir apparent, and he made his first of three straight Pro Bowls as a rookie by throwing for 4,374 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The Colts made the playoffs in each of those three seasons, and in 2014, they reached the AFC Championship Game, where they got trounced by Brady’s New England Patriots.
But Luck soon ran into injury problems of his own, including a lacerated kidney, a partially torn abdominal muscle, and a shoulder injury that forced him to miss all of the 2017 season.
He came back to play well in 2018 and made the Pro Bowl again, but he subsequently retired, as he was seemingly mentally worn down from his injury woes.
Luck wasn’t extremely athletic, nor was he a supremely accurate thrower, but if he wasn’t an elite quarterback, he was close to it.
