It’s been an eventful — or rather tumultuous — offseason for the Kansas City Chiefs.

DL Isaiah Buggs has been all over the news, but not for the best reasons.

He’s now been arrested and the Chiefs are officially ready to move on from him.

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, he was released after his bond was revoked.

He’s currently in jail with multiple pending legal cases after being booked on a burglary/domestic violence charge in Alabama.

Back on May 30, the defensive lineman turned himself in and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of second-degree animal cruelty.

Apparently, he had a rottweiler mix and a pit bull, which were found to be severely malnourished and neglected, up to the point where one of them had to be euthanized.

The 27-year-old defensive lineman played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions before signing with the Chiefs as a practice squad player, later getting a futures contract.

However, that doesn’t seem to be on the table anymore.

Buggs now joins Rashee Rice, Wanya Morris, and Chukwuebuka Godrick on the list of Chiefs who got on the wrong side of the law during the offseason.
