The NFL offseason is in its quiet period right now as the draft and free agency are well in the rearview mirror and we’re all simply killing time until training camp starts.

It’s a good time to overreact to things because storylines are few and far between, and one analyst believes that one NFL team is falling apart.

Jason McIntyre let it rip on The Herd today, saying “This team is disintegrating as we watch it” in reference to the Dallas Cowboys, noting safety Malik Hooker’s recent criticism of teammate Micah Parsons spending a lot of time on his podcast.

Hooker simply stated he wants to make sure winning and playing well is Parsons’ top priority and that the podcast doesn’t take away from that, and Parsons responded wishing Hooker had brought this to him personally.

It has been an offseason of murmurs in Cowboys camp, as head coach Mike McCarthy and quarterback Dak Prescott are both heading into contract years, while wide receiver CeeDee Lamb recently said he wants an extension worth $32 million per year or he wants to be traded.

McIntyre’s take that the team is disintegrating is probably overdramatic, but it definitely hasn’t been a banner offseason in Big D.

The team spent the least amount of money in free agency and it’s clear this will be a make-or-break year for the franchise that will lead to big changes if the Cowboys can’t generate some playoff success.

He’s probably reading too much into Hooker’s comments, but it is something at least worth monitoring.
